The City of St. Louis Park recently received a report from Xcel Energy, the city’s electric utility, which indicates that since the city began submitting energy program rebates in 1992, it has received almost $300,000 in rebates.

A 39 kilowatt (kW) roof-top solar panel system was delivered yesterday to St. Louis Park’s Fire Station #2.

138 trees planted through Minnetonka Boulevard tree planting event
On Saturday, Oct. 28, 138 trees were planted along Minnetonka Boulevard from Quebec Avenue South east to Webster Avenue South. This stretch of Minnetonka Boulevard has not had a solid canopy of trees since the early 1980s when American elm trees framed this corridor.
