Project background

City council approved an application for construction of a second apartment building at Urban Park Apartments. The new building has 61 market rate apartments, two community rooms and a fitness center. A pool and improved outdoor amenity space was added as part of the project.

Public meetings

• Sept. 17, 2018 — city council voted to approve the conditional use permit and variance applications
• Aug. 15, 2018 — public hearing was held by the planning commission and the commission recommended approval of the project to city council
• Aug. 8, 2018 — neighborhood meeting was held on-site
