- Business Connection - Do you want to learn more about what's happening in St. Louis Park? Are you interested in growing your business and connecting with your local community members? Join the Minneapolis Regional Chamber’s new bi-monthly Business Connections meetings! Typically held on the first Thursday of every other month from 8:00 - 9:30 a.m., we gather as a community to connect, learn and grow from one another. Representatives from St. Louis Park city leadership, schools, businesses, nonprofit organizations and the Chamber will share upcoming events, initiatives and opportunities for every size business. This event is free and open to area business people. We hope to see you there! - Elevate Hennepin — an initiative from Hennepin County, is designed to support businesses of all sizes in their efforts to grow, create jobs and evolve.
Through this program, businesses located in Hennepin County can access no-cost advising, find business events, and identify local, state, and federal business-support resources.
Businesses can receive up to 25 hours of consulting from each advisor in all manner of topics, including:
- Access to capital
- Business certification
- Financial management
- Marketing consulting
- Legal questions
- Human resources
- Strategic planning
- Business technology
- Starting a business

- Grants.gov — A federal government website that collects and lists various grant opportunities for businesses, nonprofits and local governments.
- GreaterMSP — A regional economic development agency that promotes job creation, provides regional marketing and assists in business expansion and recruitment.
Minneapolis Regional Chamber — Works to improve the business environment and provides networking and professional development services.
- Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) — Small Business Hub
One-stop-shop for all of DEED's resources for small business including financing, starting a business, resource guide and expansion assistance.
- Open to Business program The city’s Open to Business program offers free, one-on-one, confidential business consulting to help entrepreneurs gain access to technical assistance and financing options. Contact Luis Rodriguez, Open to Business advisor, at lrodriguez@mccdmn.org, or 612.843.3269 to schedule a meeting to discuss your business venture. In person 15-minute consultations are also available on the third Tuesday of each month between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. at St. Louis Park City Hall (5005 Minnetonka Blvd).
- Small Business Development Center, University of St. Thomas — Provides no-cost business consulting to help develop business plans and strategies, attract customers, increase sales and improve profitability.
- SCORE — Provides free and confidential advice to entrepreneurs and small business owners in every industry.
