About ParkTV

ParkTV provides local cable access programming to St. Louis Park, as well as video production and programming for the city website, ParkTV YouTube channel and social media. Its operations are funded by cable franchise fees received from Comcast. ParkTV is a division of the City of St. Louis Park's Communications and Technology Department.

ParkTV offers the following services:

Free use of video equipment to produce a program for ParkTV (must meet eligibility requirements)
Public service announcements for eligible organizations
Video-audio equipment and production consulting and referrals
Resolution of Comcast complaints

Recordings of events such as concerts, sports, graduation:
- Email parktv@stlouisparkmn.gov or call 952.924.2635 to buy a recording.

Student videos wanted

Have your video play on Comcast channel HD 799/SD 15. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must countersign the playback request form and studio production form. Contact parktv@stlouisparkmn.gov for more information.

Comcast franchise agreement

Comcast provides cable TV service to St. Louis Park residents through a non-exclusive franchise agreements with the city. The current ten-year franchise agreement was approved in April 2021 by the St. Louis Park City Council. Read the council report and franchise agreement.

Contact Comcast directly to resolve any issues or complaints. If you have worked with Comcast and have been unable to resolve your concern, the city can attempt to assist. Call 952.924.2660 to request assistance. Note the city does not have access to Comcast account information.

Those without cable may watch ParkTV programming on YouTube or www.parktv.org.

St. Louis Park City Council meetings and study sessions can be watched by webstream, or on local cable (Comcast SD channel 14/HD channel 798). Recordings are available to watch on the city’s YouTube channel, usually within 24 hours of the end of the council meeting or study session.
