ParkAlert is the City of St. Louis Park's citizen notification service that allows the city to alert people to an emergency or other city service related events in your area. The system uses listed phone numbers from the white and yellow pages, but you may also enter additional ways we can contact you, such as cell phone, business phone, email, text message or all of the above. The information you enter is protected and will not be used for any other purpose except as required by law.

Sign up for alerts

Visit the ParkAlert website to sign up, or to change information already in the system. Once you sign up, be sure to save your username and password so you can access your account.

Residents and businesses with listed telephone numbers have already been included in the system to receive emergency messages by landline phone. If you are not listed in the white or yellow pages, you must register to receive emergency or non-emergency messages. You may also use the registration link to include additional ways to contact you or to receive non-emergency messages.

How alerts work

When the city issues a message, it will be sent to all standard voice and text communication devices that are registered, including landline phones, cell phones, email and more. The messages will originate from 952.230.0743. You may wish to save this phone number in your cell phone contacts.

Update your ParkAlert account

Visit the ParkAlert website to update your account, including changing information or deleting your account if you no longer need to receive notifications.
