VHS to DVD transfer service for seniors
This service is only available for members of the St Louis Park Senior Program, hosted by ParkTV. A VHS tape of up to two hours long can be transferred to DVD, or a continuous recording can be transferred from up to two VHS tapes (four hours total). DVDs are completed within 30 days. Here’s how to use the service:
- Write the length of the VHS on the cassette label(s).
- If you have more than one tape (up to two maximum, four hours total), include a note indicating which tape should be first on the DVD.
- No editing will be provided. The entire VHS tape will be transfered from the beginning.
- Cost is $10 for up to two VHS tapes to be transfered to DVD. Limit two VHS tapes per month, four hours total length.
- Place check with the VHS tape and put it in an envelope labeled “VHS to DVD” with your name and phone number. Include a $10 check, made out to the City of St. Louis Park.
- Leave the envelope with the check in room 104 at Lenox Community Center, on the "will call" credenza near the secretary's desk. Email parktv@stlouisparkmn.gov or call 952.924.2528 to notify ParkTV a tape is waiting.
- Or, you may bring the VHS tape and check to St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. and drop it off at the front desk on the first floor. Credit card or cash payment can also be taken at City Hall.
