Solid waste

St. Louis Park provides curbside collection of garbage, recycling, organics and yard waste for single-family residential properties.

Snow and ice removal

Public works staff provides snow removal services for streets, sidewalks, trails and alleys within the city. The city is committed to providing and maintaining safe and passable streets, alleys, sidewalks and trails throughout the community.

Streets and traffic

The mission of the streets and traffic division is to provide a transportation system in St. Louis Park that is safe and functional for both vehicles and pedestrians. The street division is responsible for all maintenance associated with streets, sidewalks, alleys and municipal parking lots, including snow removal, pothole repair and street sweeping. The traffic division is responsible for all maintenance associated with street lights, street signs and traffic signal systems.

Water and sewer

The utilities division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city’s water, sanitary sewer and storm water collection systems. The mission of the division is to supply safe, high-quality water to city residents and to provide efficient collection of waste water.
