Inspection process
After an application has been submitted, city inspectors will check the building(s) and property to ensure it conforms with property maintenance code.
The inspector will either determine the building and property comply with the code or that there are violations. If the building/property complies with code, a property maintenance certificate is issued. The certificate is valid for one year to transfer the title.
If code violations are identified, a corrections report will be issued. Corrections will need to be made at the property and then re-inspected. Once the building complies with the code, a property maintenance certificate is issued.
