The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

Hamilton House, 2400 Nevada Avenue, St. Louis Park

The St. Louis Park City Council meets for its study session Tuesday, Nov. 13, as city offices are closed Monday, November 12, in observance of the November 11 Veterans Day holiday.

In addition, the council will meet at Hamilton House, 2400 Nevada Avenue, St. Louis Park (NOT at St. Louis Park City Hall).

5:30 p.m. - city council tour of Hamilton House and dinner

6:30 p.m. - study session

The St. Louis Park City Council hosts its study session Tuesday, Nov. 13, as city offices are closed Monday, Nov. 12, in observance of Veterans Day. The study session will take place at Hamilton House, 2400 Nevada Ave. S., a public housing apartment building owned and managed by the city’s housing authority. The evening starts at 5:30 p.m. with a tour of Hamilton House. At 6:30 p.m. the council dives into the annual tax increment financing (TIF) district management report and an update on affordable housing strategies and tools.
