The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Special Study Session/Regular Meeting

5:45 p.m. — Closed executive session

6:45 p.m. — Special study session

7:20 p.m. — Economic development authority

7:30 p.m. — City council meeting

A Westwood Hills Nature Center update is the focus of the St. Louis Park City Council special study session at 6:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, followed by an economic development authority meeting at 7:20 p.m. and the regular council meeting at 7:30 p.m. Council meeting agenda highlights include a presentation from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, adoption of 2019 preliminary tax levies and a conditional use permit for Wat Promwachirayan. These meetings will be preceded by a 5:45 p.m. closed executive session about Reilly consent decree negotiations.Read the agenda and staff reports.
