The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

At its Monday, Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m. study session, the St. Louis Park City Council will be updated on the city’s surface water management plan, hear a 2019 utility rate analysis and receive an overview of the pavement management program.

Proclaiming September as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in St. Louis Park is also on the agenda, as is planning for future study session agenda items.
