The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Meeting

5:45 p.m. - tour of Water Treatment Plant #4 (4701 W. 41st St.)

7:20 p.m. - EDA meeting (council chambers)

7:30 p.m. - city council meeting (council chambers)

Following a 5:45 p.m. tour of Water Treatment Plant #4 (4701 W. 41st St.) the economic development authority meets at 7:20 p.m. in the council chambers at St. Louis Park City Hall to consider an agreement related to PLACE and 2019 final HRA levy certification and budget adoption. The St. Louis Park City Council will convene its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers. Items on the agenda include a public hearing for a street project in the Historic Walker Lake area and approval of the 2019 budget, as well as consideration of a resolution to suspend certain provisions of the crime-free/drug-free ordinance. The council will also be asked to authorize submitting the St. Louis Park 2040 Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council, among several other items. Read the agenda and reports.
