The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

At the Monday, Feb. 4, 7:30 p.m. St. Louis Park City Council meeting, the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association presents its top honor, the Tommy Johnson Award, to the city for the Recreation Outdoor Center (ROC) project. This award recognizes a project that most exemplifies innovation in helping to establish new exciting concepts in recreation facilities. Other business for the evening includes awarding bids for exhibits for the Westwood Hills Nature Center project and authorizing advertising for bids for the 2019 pavement management project.
