The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

5:30 p.m. - Groundbreaking for the new Interpretive Center at Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave., St. Louis Park (The public is invited to attend; RSVP here.)

6:30 p.m. - Local Board of Appeal and Equalization (LBAE) reconvenes (council chambers, 3rd floor, St. Louis Park City Hall)

Immediately following LBAE - study session (community room, 1st floor, St. Louis Park City Hall.

The St. Louis Park City Council starts the evening of April 22 with a 5:30 p.m. groundbreaking for the new Interpretive Center at Westwood Hills Nature Center. The event is open to everyone; RSVP here. Following the groundbreaking, it’s off to a Local Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the city council study session. Discussion topics include a development proposal for Parkway Commons and the 2019 work plan for the Environment and Sustainability Commission.
