The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

A public hearing about the sale of e-cigarettes and vaping products is on the agenda of the St. Louis Park City Council Monday, Dec. 16, at 6:30 p.m. Other agenda items include the 2020 budget, final city and HRA property tax levies and 2020-2029 capital improvement plan; annual city manager evaluation; 2020 non-union employee compensation; and recognition of Council Members Steve Hallfin and Thom Miller.
