The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

EDA/City Council Meeting

  • Date: May 18, 2020 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  
  • Location: By videoconference

Some or all members of the St. Louis Park City Council will participate in the May 18, 2020, 6:30 p.m. city council meeting by electronic device or telephone rather than by being personally present at the city council's regular meeting place at 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. The EDA meeting starts at 6 p.m. followed by the 6:30 p.m. council meeting. Members of the public wishing to address the city council should call:

  • 952.928.1304 to provide public comment on the consent agenda; including item 4a – bid tab for Monterey Drive improvements
  • 952.928.1304 to provide public comment on item 6a – establishment of the Parkway Residences Tax Increment Financing District
  • 952.928.1304 to provide public comment on item 6b – first reading of an ordinance establishing South Cedar Trails Homeowners Association (HIA)
  • 952.562.2888 to provide public comment on item 8a – consider complaint of alleged violations of St. Louis Park Home Rule Charter

If you wish to provide public comment, call when the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and follow instructions provided. Comments will be taken during each item in the order they are received. Public comments must relate to an item on the current city council agenda.
