The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

At its Monday, Oct. 28, study session, the St. Louis Park City Council discusses a possible ban of electronic delivery devices, commonly known as vaping products. The council will also discuss a proposed tenant protection policy that would require owners to provide a notice to tenants prior to filing an unlawful detainer eviction action for nonpayment of rent.
