The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

The St. Louis Park City Council meets for a study session Monday, March 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers at St. Louis Park City Hall. The recommendations of the crime-free, drug-free rental housing ordinance workgroup will be presented; discussion of the recommendations is tentatively scheduled for the March 23 study session. Additional items include an update from the parks and recreation advisory commission, a food access and insecurity study, a request for city funding from SLP SEEDS, and the Dakota north bikeway and bridge project.
