The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

  • Date: April 13, 2020 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  

Some or all members of the St. Louis Park City Council will participate in the April 13, 2020, study session by electronic device or telephone rather than by being personally present at the city council's regular meeting place at 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. The study session will start at 6:30 p.m., following the 6:15 p.m. Local Board of Appeal and Equalization. Study session topics include a COVID-19 pandemic response update, along with several written reports. View the agenda and reports.

Cisco Webex will be used to conduct videoconference meetings of the city council, with council members and staff participating from multiple locations.
