The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

Some or all members of the St. Louis Park City Council will participate in the Monday, Oct. 26, 5:15 p.m. special city council meeting by electronic device or telephone rather than by being personally present at the city council's regular meeting place at 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. View the agenda and reports. Topics include an application for an environmental response fund grant from Hennepin County for the Dakota-Edgewood trail bridge and a resolution awarding the sale of General Obligation Bonds.

Members of the public who want to address the city council during the meeting about items on the agenda should call the number noted below next to the corresponding item. Call when the meeting starts at 5:15 p.m. and follow instructions provided. Comments will be taken during each item in the order they are received and must relate to an item on the current city council agenda.

Following the special city council meeting, at 5:30 p.m., the city council will interview applicants for the Ward 2 city council vacancy. Members of the public can monitor the interviews by video and audio at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil or by calling 1.312.535.8110 and using access code 372 106 61 for audio only.
