The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

The St. Louis Park City Council meets by videoconference for a special study session Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 5 p.m., to discuss 2021 legislative priorities with elected and appointed representatives.  View the agenda and reports. Following the special study session, the St. Louis Park City Council meets by videoconference for a 6:30 p.m. city council meeting. Topics include the Texa-Tonka Apartments and franchise fees for CenterPoint Energy and Xcel Energy. View the agenda and reports. Members of the public who want to address the city council during the meeting about items on the agenda should call the number noted below next to the corresponding item. Call when the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and follow instructions provided. Comments will be taken during each item in the order they are received and must relate to an item on the current city council agenda.
