The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

EDA/City Council Meeting/Special Study Session

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, June 7, at 6:20 p.m. for an EDA meeting, followed by a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. then a special study session, if needed. View the agenda and reports.

Monitor the EDA and regular meeting by video and audio starting at 6:20 p.m. at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil and on local cable (Comcast SD channel 17/HD channel 859). Audio only: call 1.312.535.8110 and use access code 372 106 61. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park.

Members of the public who want to address the city council during the regular meeting about items on the agenda should call the number noted below next to the corresponding item. Call when the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and follow instructions provided. Comments will be taken during each item in the order they are received and must relate to an item on the current city council agenda.

If needed, the St. Louis Park City Council will meet in person for a special study session to discussion city manager recruitment, immediately following the regular city council meeting. Members of the public may attend the meeting in person. This meeting will not be available on Comcast, web streamed or through audio listen-only format. View the agenda and reports.
