The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

EDA/City Council Meeting

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, Sept. 20, at 5:45 p.m. for an EDA meeting, followed by a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. View the agenda and reports.

Watch the EDA and regular meeting starting at 5:45 p.m. by webstream at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil and on local cable (Comcast SD channel 17/HD channel 859). Members of the public may attend the meeting in person at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park. Note that city council meetings from Sept. 20 – Nov. 1 will be held in the community room, first floor of St. Louis Park City Hall, while the council chambers are used for early (absentee) voting.

Members of the public who want to provide comment to the city council about items on the agenda may attend the meeting in person or email comments to info@stlouispark.org by 3:30 p.m. the day of the meeting. Emailed comments will be provided to the city council at the meeting and be included in the official meeting record.
