The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

Special Study Session/City Council Meeting

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, Nov. 15, for a 5:30 p.m. special study session to discuss the use of shipping containers or other similar structures for the purpose of food service in the parks. The special study session will be followed by a 6:30 p.m. regular meeting. The regular meeting will include oaths of office for several police officers, a Small Business Saturday proclamation and a public hearing for the first reading of an ordinance adopting fees for 2022, among other items. Watch the special study session and regular meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. by webstream at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil and on local cable (Comcast SD channel 17/HD channel 859). Members of the public may attend the meeting in person at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd., St. Louis Park.

Members of the public who want to address the city council during the regular meeting about items on the agenda can do so in person or by calling the number noted below for each item. Call when the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and follow instructions provided. Comments will be taken during each item in the order they are received and must relate to an item on the current city council agenda.
