City Council Meetings

The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, March 22, by videoconference at 5:20 p.m. for a second reading of the targeted residential picketing ordinance. View the agenda and reports. The special meeting will be followed by a 5:30 p.m. study session. Topics include city manager recruitment update, 2021 market value overview and climate action plan funding.
