The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Workshop/Study Session

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, May 9, at 5:30 p.m. for a workshop to discuss city council protocols. Members of the public may attend the workshop in person; it will not be webstreamed or broadcast. The workshop will take place in the community room, first floor, St. Louis Park City Hall.

Immediately following the workshop, the city council will meet in the council chambers for a study session to discuss council rules and procedures. Members of the public can attend the study session in person, watch by webstream at bit.ly/watchslpcouncil, or watch on local cable (Comcast SD channel 17/HD channel 859).
