The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

Special Study Session/EDA/City Council Meeting

6:15 p.m. — Special Study Session (Community Room, first floor, St. Louis Park City Hall)

7:20 p.m. — Economic Development Authority meeting (Council Chambers, third floor, St. Louis Park City Hall)

7:30 p.m. — City Council meeting (Council Chambers, third floor, St. Louis Park City Hall)

The St. Louis Park City Council meets for a special study session Monday, March 19, at 6:15 p.m. in the Community Room on the first floor of St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park. City staff will present a concept multimodal design for Monterey Drive, and a consultant will present a traffic study for the Bridgewater Bank project at Monterey and Excelsior Blvd. Study sessions are open to the public, although no public comment is taken.

At 7:20 p.m., in the Council Chambers on the third floor of St. Louis Park City Hall, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) meets for a public hearing on a purchase and redevelopment contract for Platia Place. At 7:30 p.m. the council convenes for its regular meeting, also in the Council Chambers. The council will recognize the 2017 St. Louis Park Police Officer of the Year before considering two conditional use permits, conducting the first reading of a zoning ordinance amendment and approving a labor agreement. A number of items are also on the consent agenda, which are acted upon by one motion as they are considered to be routine or need no discussion.
