The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda. 

The city council adopts a meeting schedule annually at the first meeting of the year. View the 2024 city council meeting calendar. 

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Meeting

The St. Louis Park City Council meets Monday, Feb. 5, at 6:20 p.m. for an economic development authority meeting, followed by a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. View the agenda and reports.

Members of the public can attend in person, watch by webstream, or watch on local cable (Comcast SD channel 14/HD channel 798). Provide comment on agenda items in person at the council meeting or by emailing comments to info@stlouisparkmn.gov by noon the day of the meeting. Comments must be related to an item on the meeting agenda. Comments will be shared with the city council by providing copies for their review at the meeting.

Recordings are available to watch on the city’s YouTube channel, usually within 24 hours of the end of the council meeting.
