The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

A music festival, affordable housing preservation and a Comprehensive Plan update – those are the discussion topics slated for Monday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. when the St. Louis Park City Council meets for it regular study session in the community room at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. Reports for the council’s review include updates on dockless bicycles, the Westwood Hills Nature Center project and funding for 2019 pavement management as well as a special assessment policy for charges for sewer and water availability. Study sessions are open to the public, although no public comment is taken. Visit Agendas & Minutes to view the full agenda and reports for the study session.
