The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

At its special study session Monday, June 4, at 5:30 p.m., the St. Louis Park City Council will hear an update on the city’s efforts in advancing racial equity and talk about how the council and its boards and commissions can have the most productive relationship. Study sessions are open to the public, although no public comment is taken. At 7:20 p.m. the economic development authority will approve meeting minutes and disbursement. At 7:30 p.m. the council kicks off its regular meeting with a public hearing on a liquor license for Chipotle Mexican Grill on Excelsior Boulevard. Other agenda items include a funding agreement for the SLP Nest and final approval of Bridgewater Bank’s planned unit development.
