The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

City Council Study Session

The St. Louis Park City Council will gather Monday, June 11, at 6 p.m. for a ribbon cutting at the Carpenter Park skate park! Activities start at 3:30 p.m. as part of the grand opening event.

It’s down to business at 6:30 p.m. for the city council study session. Agenda topics include a Minnesota GreenCorps project update, ranked-choice voting planning and implementation for the 2019 mayor and city council elections, size requirements for liquor stores and a minimum wage ordinance discussion.
