The city council holds regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of every month at 6:15 p.m. Study sessions are generally held on the second and/or fourth Mondays of every month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are held at St. Louis Park city hall unless otherwise noted on the meeting agenda.

Meetings may be canceled or rescheduled at any time, provided the council meets at least once per month. City council meetings are not held on holidays recognized by the city council. View a complete list of council approved holidays.

The city council rules of procedure provide guidelines for the conduct of public business by the council. This includes conduct of meetings, the agenda and order of business, and general rules of order. View city council rules of procedure.

At its special study session Monday, August 6, at 5:45 p.m., the St. Louis Park City Council considers ranked-choice voting logistics, followed by an immigration discussion. At 7:15 p.m. the economic development authority discusses items related to the Platia Place and Bridgewater Bank projects. The 7:30 p.m. regular city council meeting features recognition of playground junior leaders, a public hearing for a liquor license, establishment of the Bridgewater Bank tax increment financing district and parking restrictions on Minnetonka Boulevard at Dakota Avenue.
