The St. Louis Park Human Rights Commission advises city council on how to ensure equal opportunity and participation in housing, employment, public service, public accommodations and education. The commission consists of 10 regular voting members — one is an attorney, one is appointed by the school board and two are youth member.

The commission encourages all members of our community to:

  • Teach tolerance and respect for all
  • Share insights and experiences
  • Participate in cultural diversity activities
  • Communicate across cultures

Meetings

Meetings are held as needed. When a meeting is scheduled, information will be posted here. All meetings are open to the public and held in person at St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd.

Current openings

There are currently eight vacancies for the human rights commission – six regular members and two youth members.
