Project background
Foundation Architecture received approval for a conditional use permit (CUP) application for a building expansion at Family Orthodontics, located at 5804 Excelsior Blvd. The project will add a 1000-square-foot addition and includes interior renovations to the existing building. Landscaping will also be upgraded as part of the project.
The property is located in the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial zoning district. In this district, dental offices with an intensity classification over 4 require a CUP. Due to the impervious coverage of the lot, the use has an intensity classification of 6 and thus a CUP is required for the building expansion.

- May 1, 2023 – city council approved the application
