Below are results for the general election held Nov. 5, 2019.

Results for the 2019 ISD 283 school board race are available on the St. Louis Park Public Schools website or on the Secretary of State’s website. The school board races were not counted using the ranked-choice method. The top four candidates with the most votes in this race were elected.

The races for the offices of mayor and council member at large B only required a single round of counting.

Results were unofficial until canvassed by the city council. Canvassing occurred on Nov. 12, 2019.

Ranked-choice races

In the first round of counting a ranked choice race, we total the first-choice votes and check whether any option received more votes than the threshold. The threshold for declaring a winner is 50 percent of total votes cast plus one.

The next highest choices on those ballots will be added to the totals of the remaining candidates.
