Example utility box wrapUtility box wraps have been used in cities nationwide to add artistic flare and prevent graffiti in neighborhoods and communities. St. Louis Park’s utility box wrap program helps create a sense of community connection and pride, while providing a way to add more artistic beauty to the city.

St. Louis Park organizations and all neighborhoods that have a city-owned utility box in or bordering their neighborhood are eligible for this program. If the utility box borders two or more neighborhoods, both must be given the opportunity to be involved. At this time, utility boxes not owned by the city are not eligible.

Neighborhoods and organizations interested in the program are responsible for:

  • Completing an application.
  • Conducting a pre-wrap inspection and preparing the utility box for wrapping.
  • Ensuring all neighborhood residents are given the opportunity to participate in the image selection process.
  • Working with the wrap printing company to finalize wrap installation and removal.

Two neighborhood residents must be involved in the process in the event that one neighbor moves or is unable to complete the project. To learn more and get started, view the program description.

Note: The city is currently not accepting applications for the utility box wrap program. Check back on this page for future updates and availability.
