Park buildings
All park buildings are fully enclosed and have indoor restrooms, tables and chairs, and free Wi-Fi. They do not have air conditioning with the exception of Wolfe Park. They can accommodate 20 or 30 people. Take a virtual tour of the city's park buildings!
Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park.
Park buildings are available to rent on the weekends May 4 – Sept. 8, 2024, and on the weekdays May 28 – Aug. 30, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. with a two-hour minimum. The Wolfe Park building is available to rent year-round. For an additional fee and based on staff availability, rental outside these dates may be available. There is a $100 refundable damage deposit for park building rentals, which is due 14 days prior to the event.

Park buildings can't be reserved on Memorial Day weekend, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day weekend or New Year's Day.
Picnic shelters
Picnic shelters can accommodate groups of 35 to 100. All shelters have access to electricity and Oak Hill Park has free Wi-Fi, and most have grills (except for Fern Hill Park). Indoor restrooms are open June 3 – Sept. 1, 2024. Portable toilets will be available before May 31 and after Sept. 2. A permit is required for live bands or amplified music. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park. A $100 refundable damage deposit is required for rentals.
Picnic shelters are available to rent on the weekends May 4 – Sept. 8, 2024, and on the weekdays May 28 – Aug. 30, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. or 4 – 8 p.m.

Picnic shelters at all other parks cannot be reserved; they are available only on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Picnic shelters can't be reserved on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day or Labor Day.
Veterans' Memorial Amphitheater
Terraced into the hill, the amphitheater connects the park to the Excelsior & Grand Town Green. Its eight terraced tiers offer seating for 300 people. The concrete stage at the bottom of the hill is edged with trees and shrubs. The facility is available to rent until 10 p.m., with an additional fee for overhead lights.
If either the amphitheater or Wolfe Park Building is rented with The Rec Center's Banquet Room, the amphitheater/park building rate is half price. Total fee depends on the time of day and rental length.
